Illustrated support hosting scene
Which Windows version will I receive?
Available editions depend on the plan, disk capacity, licensing and host. Confirm a currently supported, compatible version at checkout or through support. Legacy versions referenced by older pages should not be assumed to be the default.
Can I connect from a Mac or mobile device?
A compatible Remote Desktop client can connect to an enabled Windows host. Client features and supported host types differ by platform. Check the current client documentation for your device.
Does disconnecting turn off the server?
Disconnecting a remote session is different from shutting down the server. Application behavior can still depend on Windows session policies, automatic updates and the application itself. Do not treat a disconnected session as an uptime guarantee.
Can several people use one RDP plan?
Do not assume concurrent multi-user access is included. Windows Server and Remote Desktop Services licensing, user limits and the plan configuration must support your use case. Discuss this with support before ordering.
How do I keep remote access secure?
Use strong, unique credentials, keep Network Level Authentication enabled where supported, and restrict access to trusted networks or approved VPN paths. Do not expose administrative access more broadly than necessary.
